Trutch Manor has built a reputation on not just "pretty rooms" but Breakfast as well. Breakfast is a big part of Trutch Manor's guests experiences.
Breakfast is a full served meal and the menu changes daily. Marilyn always makes "a sweet and a savory" dish each morning.
Our food selections of cheese filled crepes, banana fritters, french toast L'Orange, mango pancakes, Trutch Manor eggs benny, eggs Florentine, zucchini omelet.. The list can go on and on.
An assortment of fresh fruit is also included. If in season you may see different melons such as:
Cantaloupe, Casabe, Crenshaw, Honeydew, Juan Canary, Orange-flesh Honeydews, Pepino, Persian, Santa Claus or Yellow-flesh Watermelon. We also use starfruit, mangoes, papaya, grapes and blueberries. Apples, peaches and pears are used as well. What is "in season" and best will be on your breakfast plate.
Most people don't know that melons, squashes, and cucumbers are in the same gourd family. Most melons have similar structure to winter squash with thick flesh and inner seed-filled midsection. So what is the difference between melons and squashes? It's how they're used. Squash is considered a vegetable, while melons are known as fruits with sweet and juicy flavor.
Marilyn shops daily to insure that all produce used is as fresh as can be had. She also looks for "Island" produce whenever possible.
A choice of fruit juices, coffee and a large assortment of teas are also available.
Trutch Manor has gained a reputation on their breakfasts. Breakfast is an event at Trutch Manor. Guests look forward to morning to see what the menu will bring. Visit Trutch Manor at: Trutch Manor B & B
