Dine Around Victoria - dining event of the year - February 18th to March 7th, 2010
Home of two notable culinary schools the island can boast a host of chefs that are truly masters of their trade. Seafood restaurants are of course plentiful and there is even a floating fish and chips shop located at fisherman's wharf. Since Victoria started to become an international stopping point for many cruise ships the visitors needs grew. There are as many people visiting the city to sample the fine cuisine and locally brewed wines and beers as there are people visiting the island to stop off at Butchart Gardens these days.

A Favourite Dining Location of Victoria Locals for over 18 Years
Barkley's Steak House is a family run business operated by the Petropolous family who has over 40 years experience in the restaurant industry. Started by the late Jimmy Petropolous and now operated by his wife Tina, son Tim and daughter Jenny who carry on the family tradition of great food, great service and a friendly atmosphere for all occasion dining.
Chef Jens Larsen has created an interesting menu of our classic Sterling Silver Beef and table side caesar salad balanced by an innovative commitment to fresh seafood.
