The Cities and Towns of the Okanagan
Nightlife, Dining and Lots of Recreation

The beauty of the Okanagan is in the ever-changing landscapes, the vineyards and of course the blue waters of the lakes. However, we know that you want to get some fun activities in as well as enjoying the scenery. Well there is no shortage of fun in the four municipalities that are listed below.

Kelowna

Okanangan ValleyThis is the big kahuna of the four places that you would enjoy visiting. If you want night-life, this is the place to party at some excellent cocktail bars and patios overlooking the lake. It gets steamy hot in the summer and you can moor your boat in the numerous marinas and sip marqueritas on the deck of bars such as Rosie’s where sun tanned revellers are everywhere. The restaurant scene is amazing and features a huge array of ethnic dining experiences as well as top notch food and wine from the bountiful Okanagan Valley. Top chefs have moved here in droves, attracted by the wonderful climate and the vibrant economy.

There are also 15 golf courses in the vicinity so that you can release your inner Tiger Woods in style. Remember that when the summer is over the skiing at Big White and Silver Star will definitely satisfy your craving for some serious powder and super après ski fun. They are only a few miles away.

Penticton

From a cultural standpoint, Vernon boasts some top notch art and photo galleries and when you get hungry the restaurants feature local fare and the farmer's markets give you the best of B.C.

A great variety of golf courses are close by and the skiing in the area is as good as it gets.

Osoyoos
