If you’re out and about on a Sunday, (or any day for that matter), consider a trip to Maude Hunter’s Pub on Shelbourne street in Victoria. This is a fine neighbourhood pub, frequented by lots of university students, as evidenced by the age of the patrons on this particular Sunday.
But don’t feel out of place if you’re middle-aged like me. Plenty of us post graduates too! In spite if the fine list of brunch favourites, I had the ahi tuna salad for $11.00. I chose a lime based dressing. Simply delicious, and good value for the size of the serving (generous). The food came to my table remarkably quick considering how busy the place was.
My server’s name was Kelli. And she was quick, courteous, and efficient. The atmosphere is cozy, complete with firepleace roaring. Altogether a great little pub with excellent grub. Now I’m waxing poetic so I’ll sign off here. But do visit Maude Huinter’s Pub. You’ll be glad you did.
